Jaron Dunthorn races the #5r IMCA Sport Compact Chevrolet Cobalt. He began racing in 2020 in a 1990 Honda Civic Mini Stock, then transitioned to the Sport Compact, is building a car for the 2025 racing season. His hometrack is Idaho Falls Raceway, sometimes races at Atomic Motor Raceway. He got his first win in 2023 and in 2024 accomplished 3 feature wins, and 3 2nd place finishes, at Idaho Falls and 2 feature wins at Atomic along with 1 runner-up finish. He got into racing because his uncle used to race, and Jaron would go watch and help him.
